As a result of this newfound ecstasy, I find myself wanting to give others some of the joy I am feeling. As I celebrate Christmas, I often wish people a "Merry Christmas."
This can go horribly wrong.
When one wishes another person "Merry Christmas," they can react in four main* ways:
- They smile and return the gesture
- They graciously tell you that they celebrate a different holiday, or none at all
- They ignore you and keep walking
- They glare at you blankly for ten minutes because you're a horrible person and you should have known better than to assume that they celebrate Christmas
