As an assignment for my cartooning class in school, I had to make a comic strip using only clipart from a word processor. This is the result.
"The difference between a fool and a wise man is that a fool is a master of talking a lot and saying very little, whereas a wise man is a master of saying a lot and not talking at all."
Human exceptionalism is some of the most terrific bullshit I've ever heard.
I really like the name "Renée", for some reason.
Ahem. Here are my classification rules for a couple things:
For the sake of her privacy, let's call her... "Happy" (it makes sense if you know her). I met her back in September, and I really like her. She's smart, pretty, great at sports, and kind of shy. Anyway, I gave her a Valentine's Day card, and the day after she gave me one. And since then all I've done is smile at her, wave, and try to catch her eye whenever I can. Her locker is only a couple away from mine, and I go out of my way to be at my locker when she's at hers.
Unfortunately, lately I've been embarrassing myself in gym (the class we have together) practically every day. Three times, so far, since Valentine's Day, in fact. Not big stuff, just little things like saying or doing something imperfectly or being a little awkward. But I wouldn't be suprised if she ends up not liking me all that much.
So, far, she's made cookies, a cake, and macarons with a cream-cheese filling!
I think it's interesting how often people say "understand" when they mean "agree with me".
Like, for example, "you don't understand." Often, the person does understand, they just don't agree.
Oh my goodness... I feel hungover or something. I'm sensitive to light and sounds, I've got a headache, my eardrums hurt...
Wish me luck...
All you need for a happy life are things made from ink and paper. Money is just ink and paper. So is marriage, a job, good grades, a diploma, a resume. You can even base your hobboes on ink and paper. Reading, writing stories, composing music, poetry; they all can be done with ink and paper. The skills of reading and writing involve ink and paper. Learning about the world, whether in the form of reading about it, or using a passport to actually experience it, involves ink and paper. A military draft, as well as an eviction notice, a lawsuit, a court summons, and a tax bill are all ink and paper. An entire life can be represented by pieces of inked paper. I think that's really cool.
What's the difference between friends with a self-deprecation schtick and enemies?
The latter hate each other, the former hate themselves together.
Arguments happen when two people who are right think the other is wrong.
If any cheerleaders see this who are always the bottom of the pyramid:
Without the top block, a pyramid will still stand. Without the bottom block, it would crumble.
When He created peppers, He must have been thinking "Hehe, I wonder if people will be stupid enough to eat these."
Happy Sweetest Day, Everyone!
A rather obscure holiday (at least to my home state of Illinois), Sweetest Day is a holiday focused on doing nice things not just for a significant other, but for everyone you care about. Sweetest Day is often celebrated by giving gifts of candy.

It's raing where I am right now. Not very interesting in and of itself, but what is intersting is this: you know how, for most people, sunshine makes them get a happy feeling? Well, for me rain has that effect (and stormy weather; the stormier the better! Bring on the monsoons!). And sunshine doesn't.
Very strange. I actually just came back from going outside onto my porch, turing to face the rain and wind, and yelling "WOO-HOO!"
So, whenever I have a "flying dream", it's not where I can actually fly. It's more like I can rise into the air by kicking my feet and waving my arms, and stay there by "treading water". I'm still being pulled down by gravity, but it's as if the air were water. And yet the air doesn't feel any thicker than in real life. And I don't "soar" like a bird or anything. I'm just in the air. It really is like I'm swimming.
So, I've been thinking (haha, no), and I've decided that I've been too selective about what I put in my blob -- BLOG, sorry, I... haha, I meant "blog" [casts furtive glaces]. From now on, I will be putting more in my blog. Hopefully. Because while I won't be as selective, I am still lazy.
Thank you and good night.
Sleep well... HAHAHAAAAAA!!!
